Description of Service

The Gateway Online provides visitors to this site with access to a rich collection of resources, including historical descriptions, archival materials, online forums, opportunities to place orders for books & souvenirs,and opportunities to make reservations for guided tours.

Obligations

In order to access these resources, you do not have to be a member of the Gateway, nor are you obligated to register with a user name and password. However, to contribute postings to the online discussions labeled “hot topics” registration with a username and password is necessary.

Your username will automatically appear with your posting. You may choose your own previously established username in the interactive community, or select a new one. However you may not select a username (or email address) that:

  • attempts to impersonate another person
  • belongs to another person
  • violates the intellectual property rights of any person
  • or is deemed to be offensive by the Gateway

You will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password and/or username.

 

Rules of Conduct

The Gateway expects visitors to this site to respect the rights and dignity of others. Accordingly, the use of this service is conditioned by the following rules of conduct:

    • fraudulent.
    • obscene.

  • You agree not to post any material which encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offense.
